Bridgette’s physical strength, stamina and determination will be tested in this week’s episode of “SMILF.”

According to the synopsis for Season 1, episode 4 of the Showtime series, Bridgette (Frankie Shaw), Nelson (Samara Weaving) and Eliza (Raven Goodwin) participate in an extreme mud run to prove that women can also complete tough obstacle courses.

In a sneak peek from the episode, a guy approaches Rafi (Miguel Gomez) and hands him a flyer for the upcoming mud run event. When Rafi asks what it’s all about, the guy says that “it’s like a wicked-hard obstacle course.”

Bridgette chimes in and asks, “Is it for dudes only?” When the guy says no, Bridgette, Nelson and Eliza take offense at the fact that he only handed a flyer to Rafi. The guy explains that he didn’t mean anything by it, and so he gives some flyers to Nelson and Eliza and walks away.

Nelson then shares that she’s always wanted to participate in a mud run. When Bridgette asks why, Nelson says, “Strong, powerful women are super on trend right now and I reckon we should give it a go.”

Rafi quickly disagrees, saying, “I can’t have Larry’s (Alexandra Mary Reimer/ Anna Chanel Reimer) mom breaking her bone.” While it appears that Rafi is only concerned with Bridgette’s safety, his comment is actually what pushes her to join the mud run.

“Oh you don’t think I can handle some monkey bars?” Bridgette asks her ex.

“Of course you can,” Nelson interjects, “cause you’re amazing!”

The girls’ confidence, however, seemingly dwindles when they arrive at the actual event. In the trailer for the episode, Eliza is shocked when she finds out that the other participants trained for a whole year just for the event.

Although Bridgette, Nelson and Eliza didn’t undergo any training prior to the event, the trailer reveals that the trio makes it to the final stage of the obstacle course. But because the final stage seems to involve some sort of electric shock, Eliza isn’t sure whether she will still finish the run.

Elsewhere in the episode, Rafi and Tutu (Rosie O’Donnell) baptize Larry without Bridgette’s consent. In the series premiere, Bridgette wasn’t really pleased when she caught Rafi secretly teaching their son Larry how to pray, so she will likely be upset when she finds out that Larry has been baptized.

“SMILF” Season 1, episode 4, titled “Deep-Dish Pizza & A Shot Of Holy Water,” airs on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 10 p.m. EST on Showtime.
