Snooki announced her pregnancy at the beginning of March, prompting many to wonder if the reality TV star's due date is Dec. 21, 2012...the day that the Mayans predicted the world will end.At the time of the announcement, a source had told E! Online's Marc Malkin that "She's about three to four months along." Mom-to-be Snooki, real name Nicole Polizzi, will not tolerate haters about her pregnancy, posting photos of herself pregnant on Twitter on Tuesday and writing that she will cut a b---h if you mess with my baby.

Snooki, the 24-year-old star of MTV's Jersey Shore, snapped some photos of her growing belly while at home Tuesday

Ah I can't wait to see my little one whose either going to be a dedicated cheerleader like mommy or a strong wrestler like daddy, she tweeted.

But then, Snooki took to the defense of her unborn child. Wearing pink short shorts, a black t-shirt and a leopard headband, the photo shows Snooki holding her fist up like she is in a fight with the caption, Preggers power. I'll cut a b---h if you mess with my baby.

That didn't stop fans, or enemies, rather, from poking fun at the pregnant guidette.

The possible fathers of your child must be so excited, Twitter user justice_xox wrote.

Snooki replied: Such a lovely b---h, eh? H----r.

Another Twitter user commented on her mothering skills at the early stage within her pregnancy.

Aw you'll cut a b***h! thats so inspiring. I'm so glad your pregnant, really you seem like you will be a great mother!! the user wrote to which Snooki replied, stop taking me so seriously.

Snooki appears to be taking her pregnancy seriously, though, as she and fiancé Jionni LaValle and co-star Jenni JWoww Farley have been carrying around a doll that simulates a real-life baby that requires feeding and changing as a method for practice thanks to producers at MTV. In late March, Snooki and JWoww were spotted in Jersey City with the doll covered in a cheetah-print blanket.

MTV News reported that Snooki will be part of the season six cast of Jersey Shore, but reports have been circulating that 495 Productions want to not just rid of Snooki, but replace her, as well.

495 desperately wants to keep things fresh -- and folding in new castmates will help transition the show into a new generation ... while still keeping old fans hooked, TMZ reported quoting a source.

495 plans to limit Snooki and The Situation's roles on the new season -- giving new cast members more screen time instead.
