“One Tree Hill” alum Bethany Joy Lenz and TV movie star extraordinaire Andrew Walker star in Lifetime’s latest holiday movie, “Snowed-Inn Christmas,” premiering tonight (Dec. 16) at 8 p.m. EST.

Lenz has been teasing the premiere all week with behind-the-scenes content on Instagram, clearly very excited about her first Lifetime movie, which is very reasonable considering how fun it looks like it was to film.

Her co-star, Walker, on the other hand, was in the Lifetime Christmas movie “Finding Mrs. Claus” in 2012, but most of his TV movie experience comes from the Hallmark Channel and its sister network. He’s been in about 10 of them, ranging from Christmas to Valentine’s Day to spring and fall-themed movies.

While Walker’s been in quite a collection of TV films, and a few Christmas ones at that, and Lenz has been in one, 2014’s “The Christmas Secret” on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, there’s always room to do more.

That’s where “Snowed-Inn Christmas” comes in.

“Jenna Hudson (Lenz) and Kevin Jenner (Walker) are polar opposites, working for the same online publication in New York City,” the official synopsis shares. “With both having nowhere they want to be for Christmas, they volunteer for a special writing assignment. After a snowstorm forces their plane to land in none other than Santa Claus, Indiana, the two are placed in a Christmas Wonderland and the focus of their story shifts to saving the historic town inn run by Carol (Belinda Montgomery) and Christopher Winters (John B. Lowe).”

Stuck together, the two learn to overcome their differences and re-learn what Christmas is all about and the magic that comes with it. Along with their newfound Christmas joy, the duo feel a deep desire to help the inn from meeting an awful end.

Things get a bit complicated though when someone from Jenna’s past returns to shake everything up, leaving it up to Carol and Christopher to try to bring Jenna and Kevin together. Will the innkeepers be able to get the two young writers together? Will the writers be able to help keep the inn running?

All the answers will come when the film, which was produced by Juliette Hagopian and executive produced by Howard Braunstein, airs tonight. The Christmas movie was also directed by Gary Yates and written by Carly Smale.

Following the premiere of “Snowed-Inn Christmas,” Lifetime will air a new mini-movie titled “My Christmas Grandpa” at 10 p.m. EST.

The short film follows a grouchy cashier at a small market who never smiles for any of his customers, until, one day, a little girl asks for a grandpa for Christmas and decides that he’s a perfect choice. This new familial relationship transforms him from a grouch to a happy, love-filled surrogate grandpa.

Watch “Snowed-Inn Christmas” at 8 p.m. EST and “My Christmas Grandpa” at 10 p.m. EST, both on Lifetime.
