AMSTERDAM - Dutch bank and insurance group SNS Reaal said on Tuesday its bank unit has issued a 1.6 billion euro ($2 billion), five-year bond, which is covered by the Dutch state guarantee scheme.

The note carries a coupon of 3.5 percent and Citi, JP Morgan Securities Ltd., Natixis, Rabobank en UniCredit (HVB) were lead managers, SNS Reaal said in a statement. ($1=.7906 Euro) (Reporting by Gilbert Kreijger)
