Finland's GeoSentric unveiled on Wednesday its mobile social-networking service GypSii for Apple's iPhone.

The GypSii application lets iPhone users to get maps and directions and access other location-based as well as social-networking services.

The new web-based application integrates its multiple services into a single interface, making it easy for users to enjoy a wide range of location-based features and services, along with social networking, the company said.

A native version using Apple's software development kit will also launch later this week.

Apple has shipped more than five million iPhones globally since the phone's launch in June last year, GeoSentric said.
