‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Season 7 Spoilers: Episode 3 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Playing With Monsters’?

Season 7 of “Sons of Anarchy” ended episode 2 on a tearful note. Jax revealed in “Toil and Till” that he’s gung-ho on taking down Lin after Gemma falsely accused the Triad of being behind Tara’s gruesome demise. So, he buddies up with Jury, a Devil’s Tribe MC member, to help him hit one of Lin’s gun and drug deliveries to begin the process of destroying Lin’s business.

“We’re going to unravel Lin. Take apart his business,” Bobby explained to Jury. “But for now, no one can know it’s us.”

When Lin does get wind of the mayhem that occurred at the delivery, he immediately thinks it’s SAMCRO who is behind it -- and rightly so. But after meeting with Jax, he’s convinced the attack came from another club, to which Jax responds that he’ll make it his mission to find out who. See, Jax wants to gain Lin’s trust so that when the time comes he can pull the rug out from Lin so quickly the gang leader will never see it coming.

Whom does Jax pin the attack on? Remember the two men Jury said were “local muscle” associates who could lend a hand during the raid? Well, SAMCRO goes to pay these to randos a visit after the hit to allegedly pay them for their help. But Jax and his boys end up murdering the two and make it look like they were the ones who attacked Lin’s delivery by leaving Lin’s guns and drugs around the house.

But Jax’s savvy plan may just backfire, considering one of those he killed happens to be one of Jury’s sons. The final scene shows Jury walking into the home of the “local muscle” and finding the bloody mess. He holds his deceased son in his arms while crying, much as Jax cradled Abel in the final scene.

So, what can fans expect to happen in episode 3, “Playing with Monsters”? According to the short and sweet synopsis, SAMCRO will exploit an opportunity to secure an important alliance in next week’s episode.
