Ready for some drama? How about some gore, because according to the Season 7 promo video for “Sons of Anarchy,” that’s what fans are going to get when the final season airs its premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 10 p.m. EDT.

The promo, “Bad Places,” begins with a pretty gruesome scene as three sleeveless hunks toss a body into a dirt pit during the middle of the night in a rainstorm. Although we can’t decipher who the unfortunate soul being dumped into the ground is we do know that the victim suffered a fatal head wound.

“Some part of me was trying to buy back all the bad things I’ve done,” we hear Jax say as looming images from the past flash across the screen. “The people I’ve hurt. It’s dangerous and it’s selfish. I already lost the woman I love. I’m not going to lose my club.”

Fans of the hit FX series then get the chance to see new scenes from the upcoming and final season of “Sons of Anarchy,” like a car chase, a clubhouse meeting and a confrontation between two gangs.

Just as guns get drawn, the promo video cuts to a scene between Nero and Katey Sagal’s character, Gemma.

“Lot of people gettin’ killed, Mama,” he reveals. And based on the 47-second trailer, he’s right.

A few seconds after Nero’s warning we see two police officers witness a murder. Blood splatters across their window as they watch the brutal killing.

“Charming’s a bad place. Isn’t it, Wayne?” the show’s newest character, Sheriff Jarry, says.

The officer replacing the deceased Sheriff Eli (thanks to Juice) is played by Annabeth Gish, who you may know from “The Bridge.” According to reports, Jarry will learn that she has to work hand-in-hand with SAMCRO if she wants to reduce the killings in Charming. But don’t think for a second that this fierce lady will be a pushover!

The rest of the trailer show’s officers gunning down a few residents, Gemma getting smacked across the face and the Sons playing target practice on another gang.

“Bad Places” then returns to the scene of the officers witnessing the killing, which we saw earlier in the promo video. But this time the officer sitting in the driver seat is no longer visible. Instead we see his partner covered in blood, frantically shaking. Can we expect more officers of the law to be dead in the upcoming season of “SoA”?

The promo then ends with a bang – literally – as buildings begin to explode. As we watch the Sons dive for safety the trailer cuts to a scene of little Abel.

“Does my daddy do bad things?” he asks his grandmother.

“Your daddy is a good man,” Gemma assures him. But can she convince herself?

Before the promo video concludes fans watch as Jax drives a knife straight through a victim’s skull.
