A slew of live photos of the upcoming Sony Lavender surfaced online via a leak, back in May. This device reportedly portrayed a bezel-free design. However, a report from Mobipicker said the Sony Xperia T4 Ultra tied to the model No. E5503 is nothing but the Sony Lavender.

As far as the Xperia T4 Ultra release date is concerned, Phone Arena said, the handset reportedly is to be launched next month. The handset apparently will be the first device from Sony to come with no side bezels.

The Sony Xperia T4 Ultra reportedly will come with a 5.5-inch display, aided by a good 1,080 x 1,920 pixels full HD screen resolution. This display combination translates to a pixel density of 401 ppi. Under the hood, the handset will be powered by a 64-bit (MediaTek MT-6752) chipset, in combination with an octa-core processor, clocked at 1.7 GHz. Plus, the graphics side of things apparently will be governed by a Mali-T760 GPU and backed by 2 GB of RAM configuration.

When it comes to camera specification, this midrange Sony handset will apparently come with same megapixel count in both front and back cameras, 13 MP front and rear-facing camera units with LED flash.

In addition to the standard connectivity option, the Xperia T4 Ultra reportedly will support 4G LTE and dual-SIM capability. On the software end, the smartphone is expected to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, straight out of the box.

The Sony Xperia T4 Ultra is expected to be priced in the $280-$300 range, Mobipicker said. In any case, readers should note Sony has yet to confirm the Xperia T4 Ultra specifications or price.
