Sony had introduced the new Xperia X lineup at the Mobile World Congress 2016 that was held earlier in February. The Japanese company had launched three smartphones, namely Xperia X, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XA. Later, it had also launched Xperia XA Ultra, a selfie-centric smartphone. Sony has now confirmed the U.S. pricing and release date for aforementioned Xperia X series smartphones.

Sony has released a press release on the U.S. pricing, release date and availability of the new Xperia X series smartphones. All the four smartphones will be available for purchase through Sony Mobile US, Amazon, Best Buy, B&H Photo and Reagan Wireless.

Xperia X

The Sony Xperia X release date is June 26 and it will be available for $549.99. Its specs include 5-inch full HD screen, Snapdragon 650 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, storage options of 32 GB and 64 GB, a dedicated microSD slot, 23-megapixel main camera, 13-megapixel selfie camera, fingerprint reader and 2620 mAh battery.

Sony Xperia X Performance preorders have started. It can be now availed through Best Buy, Amazon, B&H and Reagan Wireless. The company is also giving a free 128 GB microSD card, three Sony Pictures movies and UCH10 Quick Charger.

Xperia XA

The Sony Xperia XA release date is July 17 and it can be purchased for $279.99. Its preorders will start on June 19 along with freebies like microSD card and three Sony Pictures movies.

It is a budget phone that includes 5-inch HD screen, MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, 2 GB of RAM, internal storage of 16 GB, a microSD slot, 13-megapixel rear shooter, 8-megpixel frontal snapper, fingerprint scanner and 2,300 mAh battery.

Xperia X Performance

The Sony Xperia X Performance release date is July 17 and it will be costing $699. Its preorders will start on June 19 with a free 128 GB microSD card, three Sony Pictures movies and a UCH10 Quick Charger.

It is a flagship phone from the company that is packed with 5-inch full HD screen, Snapdragon 820 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB native storage, 23-megapixel rear camera, 13-megapixel selfie camera, fingerprint sensor and 2700 mAh battery.

Xperia XA Ultra

The Sony Xperia XA Ultra release date is July 24 and it will be priced at $369. The phablet features a huge 6-inch full HD screen, MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 21.5-megapixel rear camera, 16-megapixel frontal camera and 2,700 mAh battery.

The aforementioned Sony Xperia X smartphones come preloaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and are expected to be available in color choices such as white, black, lime gold and rose gold. The Xperia XA Ultra will not feature rose gold option.
