The South Korean won that fell to a 2-week low of 1423.15 against the US dollar by about 8:05 pm ET Monday, started climbing after that. The won rose to 1382.60 against the dollar by about 11:45 pm ET, compared to 1392.20 hit late Monday in New York. If the South Korean currency rises further, 1306.6 is seen as the next likely target level.
