S&P may announce a Greek default

Standard & Poor's, the U.S. rating agency, may downgrade Greece's credit rating to selective default as the nation concludes the restructuring plan, an official from the rating agency said today.

It's not a given that Greece's default would have a domino effect in the euro zone, John Chambers, the chairman of S&P's sovereign rating committee, said in an event organized by Bloomberg Link.
