Ever wanted to relive your childhood by playing alongside Michael Jordan as a member of the Tune Squad? Thanks to a video game modder named MkEliteWorksX, gamers can catch a glimpse of what it’s like to take control of Bugs Bunny and the rest of the cast of “Space Jam.”

Using top-selling basketball video game “NBA 2K14” as a template, MkEliteWorksX created a cutting-edge version of “Space Jam’s” climactic battle between the Tune Squad and the MonStars. The mod contains a realistic version of Michael Jordan, as well as human-sized versions of his cartoonish counterparts.

Fans of the “Space Jam” movie will remember that the Tune Squad narrowly defeated the MonStars on the strength of Jordan’s last-second, half-court dunk. MkEliteWorksX’s mod produced yet another hard-fought Tune Squad victory -- Bugs and the rest of the gang won in double overtime, 133-126.

Despite being nearly 20 years old, “Space Jam” just won’t seem to go away. Last November, Yahoo Sports spoofed ESPN’s popular “30 for 30” documentary series by chronicling the Tune Squad’s victory as if it were a real-life event.

This isn’t the first time that “Space Jam” was converted into a video game, but considering MkEliteWorksX’s use of the latest “2K” game, the graphics have never been better. A full video of the mod can be viewed below.
