RTTNews - Tuesday, Spain's National Statistical Institute said in a report that the overnight stays in hotel establishments declined 8.9% year-over-year to 22.8 million in May.

The overnight stays among the residents dropped 6.8% annually in May, while overnight stays among non-residents were down 10.2%.

For the first five months of the year, overnight stays fell 10.2% compared to the same period last year.
