RTTNews - Spain's export prices dropped 2.9% year-on-year in April compared to a a 2.4% fall in the preceding month, the National Statistics Institute said Monday. Export prices fell for the fifth consecutive month in April.

Import prices slipped 7.4% annually in April, faster than a 6.9% drop in the preceding month. Import prices were also down for the fifth consecutive month.

On a monthly basis, export prices remained flat in April, after falling 0.7% in March. However, import prices rose 0.3%, following a 1.1% decline in the previous month.
