RTTNews - Spanish industrial output plunged 28.6% in April, following an annual fall of 13.7% in March, a report from the National Statistics Institute showed Friday. At the same time, the index adjusted for calendar effects slipped at a slower pace of 19.7% versus a 24.4% decrease in March.

On an unadjusted basis, production of consumer goods and capital goods were down 21.5% and 34%, respectively. Meanwhile, energy output decreased 11.2% and intermediate goods by 36.2%.
