Spanish Prices Accelerated in December

Spain's annual inflation for December rises to 0.8%, similar to forecasts, from 0.3%, while the monthly reading came in line with expectations, lower than the prior 0.5%, according to CPI indicator.

With regard to CPI core index, it inched up to 0.3% from both prior and expected 0.2%. On the month, the reading matched estimates of 0.0%, below the preceding 0.4%. CPI EU Harmonised came analogous to the prior and projected 0.9%, whereas the monthly reading came in at 0.0% as expected, 0.5% below the prior.
