Arsenal had a another blow this week as Cameroon International midfielder Alex Song is set to complete a move to Spanish giants Barcelona. Song had long been linked with a move to Camp Nou and the Spanish Giants finally agreed a transfer deal with the London club.

Song will be the second high profile player to exit the London club after the departure of the Dutch International Robin Van Persie to Manchester United. The Cameroon International has agreed a five-year deal with the Catalan Giants for fee of €19m.

The news broke out when the Spanish Giants official website.  "FC Barcelona has agreed a deal with Arsenal FC for the transfer of Alex Song to Camp Nou. The fee is 19 million Euros"

"The Cameroon international midfielder will sign for the next five seasons with a release clause of 80 million Euros"

"On Monday he will have a medical and then join the rest of the squad for the official team presentation"

Arsenal started their season with a goal less draw against Sunderland at home. It looks like Arsenal boss needs time to rebuild his squad once again. Wenger has already been in these situations before and has been successful in helping the club finish in top four. With the departure of Song and Van Persie from Arsenal's starting lineup, it would be tough task for Wenger and his men to challenge United, Manchester City and Chelsea for the prestigious Premier League Title.
