You only have to catch a glimpse of an Arsenal match at the moment to see the sheer quality that Santi Cazorla is adding to the Arsenal team, which is quite simply astounding. Given the time Cazorla has been with the squad, his contribution has been simply magnificent and promises good things for him in the future.
Wenger said in an interview that Cazorla was feeling at home due to the style of football Arsenal play. And I, for one, could not agree more. Wenger's philosophy will only work if he has the players to carry out the plan, and I believe he has found his man in Cazorla.
There has been a lot of talk of Olivier Giroud being "a flop" or, "another Chamakh". I think this is utterly ridiculous. Any striker is going to take a while to settle in with their new team, for example, some real club legends - Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp- took as many as 8 games to score their first goal in the red and white of Arsenal.
So, because we begin the judgement on the young French-man, let's wait a while. I wouldn't be surprised if he fires one in on the 15th September against Southampton (incidentally, this was where Thierry Henry scored his first goal.. take from that what you will.)
Arsenal will be looking to pick up all 3 points at the Emirates on the 14th, and with the sheer quality, is there any surprise? However Southampton go into this game on a high, and so it should prove to be "a cracker" of a match.
