Barclays Premier League Previews and Predictions : Match day 3

West Ham vs. Fulham

Fulham travel to Upton Park to face West Ham. They will be a weakened side following departure of Mousa  Dembele and absence of Clint Dempsey. West Ham would like to recover from last week's disappointment against Swansea. This match could see likes of Ricardo Vaz Te, Nicky Maynard and Mobido  Maiga return after impressing in mid-week Cup outing. Andy Carroll has also joined West Ham on loan. Recent history is against Fulham who have won once in their last 15 matches against West Ham. Can Fulham improve their dismal record?

Swansea vs. Sunderland

Swansea can go top if they defeat Sunderland in this fixture. Michu has been in prime form for Swansea with 3 goals. Ki Sung-Yueng has joined Swansea from Celtic. Swansea manager Michael Laudrup has a fully-fit squad to choose from and is likely to name an unchanged team. Sunderland play their second match of the season which could see debuts for Steven Fletcher and Adam Johnson. Wes Brown and David Vaughan will miss the match due to injuries. An exciting match in prospect with Swansea  starting as favorites.

West Brom vs. Everton

Here are two sides that have a blistering starts to their season. For Everton Nikica Jelavic continues his goal scoring form with Marouane Fellaini supporting him well. Phil Neville and Tony Hibbert are doubtful due to injuries. Kevin Mirallas is in contention for his Premier League debut. Everton will be looking to continue the winning streak against Everton. West Brom surprised everyone with 3-0 victory against Liverpool.  Romelu Lukaku would look to continue his good run. Peter Odemwingie  could be back from groin injury. This one promises to be a exciting match with goals from both sides.

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Norwich City

Both teams are yet to post a win in this season. Spurs have Mousa Dembele as ready replacement for Luka Modric. Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor will be the man upfront. Spurs will be without Younes Kaboul who is out due to injury. Jan Vertonghen is expected to step in. Norwich City rested key players during mid-week Cup outing. Elliot Ward, Steven Whittaker and Elliot Bennett are all doubts due to injury. Wes Hoolahan and Sebastien Bassong could start for Norwich. Grant Holt will lead the attack. Spurs prime candidates for a win.

Wigan vs. Stoke city

Wigan have lost none of the last six league meetings with Stoke. Wigan started the season with a loss but defeated Southampton in the second match. They will be without Victor Moses who left for Chelsea. Franco Di Santo, Arouna Kone and Mauro Boselli will be the goal scoring threats. Stoke are not good travelers and are yet to win a match this season. Peter Crouch scored goals in mid-week defeat. Jermaine Pennant and Michael Knightly will be the wide men supporting crouch and Walters. Dean Whitehead will return from suspension. A contest between 2 teams having contrasting styles of play.

Manchester City vs. QPR

City were lucky to escape with a draw against Liverpool.City have started the season on a slow note.Jack Rodwell is expected to start this match thereby allowing Yaya Toure to play in a attacking role.David Silva and Joleon Lescott will return to starting lineup. Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli will be the attacking options up front. QPR have added Julio Cesar and Esteban Granero to the squad. Mark Hughes is yet to figure a winning combination in this season. QPR showed an improved performance in the second match and earned a point. But against the Champions in an away match looks a tough task.

Liverpool vs. Arsenal

Liverpool are slowly adapting to Brendan Rogers style of play. Nuri Sahin is expected to debut for Liverpool. He along with Steven Gerrard and Joe Allen will form the midfield. Raheem Sterling and Fabio Borini will be the wider options with Luis Suarez playing in a striker's role.Daniel Agger will be back after suspension. Arsenal are creating a lot of chances but not converting them into goals. The flip side is Arsenal defense which has maintained clean sheet in both the games. Mikel Arteta, Abou Diaby and Santi Cazorla have been strong in mid field. An exciting match in offer with goals from both sides.

Newcastle vs. Aston villa

Newcastle welcome strugglers Aston Villa on Sunday, with the home side strongly favored to take all three points.Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba will lead the line for Newcastle. Cheik Tiote and Shola Ameobi could be back after missing against Chelsea. Villa defeated Spurs in the opening fixture. They will be without a number of key players missing out due to injuries. Paul Lambert will be looking to bring couple of striker's before the transfer window closes. Newcastle favorites for this one,

Southampton vs. Manchester United

Southampton were good against City bit a home loss against Wigan was a poor performance. They are yet to score a point. Ricky Lambert and Adam Lallana will be the key for home side. United were good against Fulham and seem to get back into rhythm. Robin Van Persie will lead the line in absence of Wayne Rooney. Jonny Evans could be back to partner Nemanja Vidic in defense. A tough match for Southampton but that's what Premier League is all about. Manchester United favorites for this one.
