Brooklyn Nets (11-9)
Toronto Rapters (4-18)
Andrea Bargnani - likely out
Brook Lopez - definitely out
Kyle Lowry - Questionable
Gerald Wallace - Questionable
Toronto is on a 5 game loosing streak. They have lost 11 out of their last 12 games. Bargnani likely will be out because the Raptors don't have anything to play for, and having him play through injury would be silly. Amir Johnson is suspended for one game after he threw his mouth piece at an official. Kyle Lowry is questionable, and if he is out Jose Calderon, who is averaging 10 points, and 7 assists this season will come in for him. Calderon is no match up for Deron Williams.
For the Nets, coming off a heartbreak loss against the New York Knicks, are also on a 5-game losing streak. Lopez is out, and Gerald Wllace is questionable after taking a beating last night. Williams has said that he has not played a good game yet this year. The last time he criticized himself like this, he had a season high in points against Oklahoma City.
Joe Johnson is coming off a good performance against the Knicks. Look for him to continue against DeRozan, who also should have a good showing as well.
Terrance Ross and Ed Davis will get the nods today if Bargnani is out. They will have to go up against Reggie Evans, who had 18 boards yesterday.
Andray Blatche, who dropped 23 last night, will have a big game tonight against struggling rookie Jonas Valanciunas.
Prediction: Nets will win tonight by double digits. Toronto is banged up, and cannot compete talent wise with this new look Nets team, despite them being a little banged up as well.
