Bayern Munich So Super - The New Champions

Bayern Munich wrapped the title pursuit in an enviable fashion over the weekend when the pipped host Eintracht Frankfurt by 1-0 in well earned victory. The 22nd Bundesliga title did not come to them on a platter of gold as the Eagles put in a relentless display and made the champion worked hard for their victory. Bein Schweinsteiger sublime finish came in the second half of the game. Bayern Munich got a grip of the game quite early as they dominated possession , even though the host were without their captain Permin Schweglar and top goal scorer Alex Mier, they were content with Bayern dominating possession while they were just doing enough to contain the attacking onslaught of their opponents. The host had a rare chance through Karim Matmour but could not make the opportunity count, however Swiss international Xherdan Shaqiri rattled the bar with a fierce shot which could have open the goal feast early in the game.
Augsburg Has Got Their Groove Back

Relegation threatened Bavarian club Augsburg seem to have found the winning formula in the second half of the season. It was almost looking like a foregone conclusion that they would be going down at the end of the season, but history is repeating itself again as they are suddenly showing some signs resilience. By December they had only amassed a total of 9 points together with fellow bottom placedd SG Furth. The team is now playing with so much confidence that they are winning games away from home. Victories over Dusseldorf, Werder Bremen and Hamburg has announced their presence and sent message to other teams that they are not in the league to make the numbers. They are still currently five point adrift from Dusseldorf but if their recent form is anything to consider, they seem capable of not just avoiding relegation but have respectable finish at the end of the season.
