Chelsea News: Chelsea Lodge Official Complaint Against Mark Clattenburg For His Inappropriate Language

Chelsea has lodged an official complaint to Premier League against Referee Mark Clattenburg for his comments made during their defeat to Manchester United on Sunday.

The European Champions are accusing Clattenburg for inappropriate language used by the English referee against two of Chelsea’s players

Clattenburg sent off two of Chelsea’s players which eventually resulted in United having an added advantage for last twenty odd minutes of the game.

The 37-year-old referee sent off Branislav Ivanovic for his tackle made on Ashley Young and Fernando Torres received a second yellow card for what the official interpreted as a dive under the challenge of Jonny Evans.

"We have lodged a complaint to the Premier League match delegate with regards to inappropriate language used by the referee and directed at two of our players in two separate incidents in today's match"

"The match delegate will pass the complaint to the Football Association. We will make no further comment at this time” Club spokesman announced after the game.
