Alcantara Thiago is one of the hottest prospects in Spanish football, on Tuesday evening he re-iterated that fact by delivering a first class show leading his country to win the Under-21 European Championship's in Israel, scoring a hat-trick along the way to help secure a 4-2 victory over Italy in an entertaining match.

Already being linked with a summer move away from Barcelona in order to get regular first team football, it is alleged that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was at the game in Israel on Tuesday evening after being invited to attend as part of President Shimon Peres 90th Birthday celebrations, used the occasion to watch the 22-year-old and wants the player at Stamford Bridge.

The report comes via Mundo Deportivo and they also state that Thiago is wanted by Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid. The Italian born Star grew up in Spain and has a Brazilian father, former World Cup winner Mazinho. Football is certainly in this players blood, as is talent. He is now attracting the best clubs in the world and will make a decision whether to move, or whether to stay and fight it out for a starting place in Barcelona's star ridden squad, and attempt to push out the likes of Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas.

Abramovich and Chelsea are apparently close to sealing a deal for Napoli's forward Edinson Cavani in an incrdible £49 million move and if he does decide to pursue a move for Thiago, that could be a mouth watering setup for The Blues next season.
