Cristiano Ronaldo Fails To Commit His Future To Real Madrid As He Claims It Is Not About Money

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has failed to put supporters minds at ease whilst making a formal statement via Twitter regarding his current unhappiness at the club.

Sparking fresh speculation that both Manchester City and Chelsea are waiting to pounce, especially with the player claiming he does not want more money.

In a statement made on Tuesday, the Portugal international captain was forced to come out and speak to his supporters after his expression of sadness has caused such a huge stir. He said "I am being accused of wanting more money, but one day it will be shown that this is not the case".

This suggests that there is some kind of rift among the ranks forcing the player to become unhappy. If it is not about money like he claims, then he will be more than willing to move to another club if the problem is not resolved.

Ronaldo has a €100m buyout clause in his contract and this will not put off the likes of Macn City, Chelsea, PSG and Zenit St.Petersburg.

He went on to confirm his dedication to Real Madrid, but did not speak about the long term, only saying "At this point, I just want to guarentee to the Real Madrid fans that my motivation, dedication, commitment and desire to win all competitions will not be affected".

A very interesting statement that could really be perceived either way, but the fact he is clearly not happy with something within the clubs backroom staff, surely means that he will now be thinking about his future either in January, or at the end of the season.
