According to Talksport Magazine, both Liverpool and Chelsea are showing a keen interest in signing Ghana International Full Back, Samuel Inkoom, who is impressing pundits and scouting teams alike over in the Ukranian League.
Inkoom plays predominently as a right back, but can also play as a winger. His versatility could well be the spark behind the current Premier League interest. Chelsea have new Spaniard Cesar Azpilicueta playing well in that position currently but with squad depth being an issue, there might lie the reasoning behind their interest.
Liverpool have had a somewhat unsettled backline but the fact he is also a useful winger might be the logic behind their interest for the pacey wide man as Brendan Rodgers looks to build attacking fluidity.
Inkoom's agent is keen to force a move for his young client, who has featured on over 30 occasions for Ghana, at the tender age of just 23. He is quoted as stating 'Samuel is not happy with his situation at Dnipro, it is not acceptable for a player of his calibre. We are talking about a hugely talented player, clearly the only solution is for him to move to a top European club where he can play and succeed'.
There is no shortage of European clubs interested along with Chelsea and Liverpool, as the player continues to cause a storm. There has even been talk of Barcelona being interested in the right back.
Inkoom is a very strong and quick defender who has the desire and passion to be a fully commited and powerful full back. He is a tough tackler, good on the ball and excellent when making forward runs with the ball. He also has the ability to put in a good cross and offers good offensive and defensive attributes.
With the player obviously wanting to move away from his current club, it will only be a matter of time before the offers begin to come in and Dnipro will struggle to keep hold of their prize asset, but could well be interested in cashing in on the player as the media speculation grows.
