Denver Broncos at Baltimore Ravens Preview: Predicting the Best Fantasy Performers And Where To Watch Online
Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos can pile on the misery for a Baltimore Ravens team that has lost two straight.
The Broncos are riding high, thanks to an offense Manning has quickly turned into a precision-based, big-play unit. Defensively, the Broncos can rely on stud hybrid rush linebacker Von Miller to dominate offenses.
The Ravens recently fired offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and have promoted Jim Caldwell to the role. Caldwell coached the Colts for three seasons from 2009-11, helping Manning and company reach a Super Bowl.
Here is a prediction of the top three fantasy performers to from this game, including the Ravens' best offensive player.
Ray Rice, RB, Baltimore Ravens
In order to get the Ravens offense on track, Caldwell must find ways to get the ball into the hands of Ray Rice. The diminutive, multi-purpose running back is a natural playmaker who can cause Denver's defense plenty of trouble.
Establishing Rice can keep a dangerous pass rush, led by Miller and Elvis Dumervil, away from struggling quarterback Joe Flacco.
Fantasy owners everywhere can't afford to ignore the value of these four running backs in Week 11.
Stevan Ridley, New England Patriots
It's been a safe bet to pick any runner going against the Indianapolis Colts' defense this season. That trend should continue this week for New England Patriots' rusher Stevan Ridley.
The Patriots have become more run-friendly this season and much of that is due to Ridley. The second-year pro has 814 yards from 172 carries this season.
His 4.7 average and six rushing touchdowns make him a must-have start against the Colts.
Alfred Morris, Washington Redskins
Alfred Morris has been a revelation for the Redskins and should dominate against the Philadelphia Eagles' soft rush defense.
Rookie defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and veteran middle linebacker DeMeco Ryans have failed to cure Philly's woes stopping the run. The Eagles are currently allowing 112.7 yards per game.
That should lead to a big game for Morris. The sixth-round pick is the focal point of the second-best ground attack in the NFL.
The following four mtchups represent must-have starts for Fantasy football owners in Week 4 of the 2012 NFL season:
Arian Foster, RB, Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans Defense
A case could be made for starting Arian Foster every week, no matter the opposition. However, Week 4 can be better than most for the talented Houston Texans' running back.
Going against the Tennessee Titans' defense is a dream matchup for Foster. The Titans currently rank 29th in the league against run, alllowing an average of 150.3 yards per game.
Last week, the Music City outift somehow contrived to allow the Detroit Lions to amass 123 yards on the ground, including 100 yards for Mikel Leshoure on his first start. That's not good news as they prepare to face a Texans rush attack that is one of the best in the NFL.
Expect Foster to dominate early and often against the Titans, behind Houston's expert zone-blocking.
Dallas Cowboys Defense vs. Jay Cutler, QB, Chicago Bears
