1. Arsenal finally managed to score
Arsenal has finally managed to seal a victory in this new campaign. Goals from their new signings Lukas Podolski and Santi Cazorla gave Arsenal their first three points of the season. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will definitely be a happy man cause of the performance. Arsenal finally managed to score a goal which ended their 200 plus minutes of goal drought.
2 Arsenal has improved in their defense
Arsenal has yet again managed to keep a clean sheet with their third choice keeper Vito Mannone with Wojciech Szczesny and Lukas Fabianski both still struggling for match fitness. Mannone did really well at the back with support from Arsenal's new skipper Thomas Vermaelen and Per Mertesacker
3 Abou Diaby was the difference for Arsenal.
Abou Diaby had a great game for Gunners as he his outstanding performance made a huge impact in Arsenal's first league victory. On the other hand, Steven Gerrard did not enjoy a good game as the England International was looking short on creativity and also on ammunition.
4 Liverpool lack options up front
With Liverpool's new manager Brendon Rodgers unloading Andy Carroll on a season long loan to West Ham United, Rodgers is left short of option up front with Fabio Borini as an another striker for Liverpool.
5 Liverpool's Error resulted in their loss
There was moment of madness from both the teams during the game but what mattered most were two moments of madness from Liverpool players which resulted in two Arsenal goals. During the first half, an error from Liverpool skipper Gerrard resulted in Podolski scoring the first goal for Arsenal.
Another error from Liverpool's keeper Pepe Reina during the second half helped Cazorla scored his first goal for his new club. Cazorla's goal made it worse for Rodgers as he was short of options upfront for Liverpool.
