The Miami Heat took hold of the importance of winning game five, especially Lebron James. James was the Super King James Version throughout the game and particularly in the third quarter of game. His third quarter explosion separated the Heat from the Pacers and the Pacers were unable to recover to challenge the Heat in fourth quarter. Miami definitely drew a line in the sand by winning the critical game five. The series was tied 2-2.

In game six, the Miami Heat was in position to send the Indiana Pacers home so they could go fishing, but that was not the outcome. Lebron James was once again left to fend for himself but in this game he was not the imposing figure of game five but his line was still good 29pts, 6 assist, 7 rebounds.

In game six, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh were able to ignite their games to the level they are capable. It is obvious, that Wade is struggling physically with injury and it has affected his energy level and ultimately impacted his will to win.

No injuries have been reported or suggested for Chris Bosh. In the paint, Roy Hibbert and David West have pounded Bosh and the Miami Heat’s big men all series. Bosh’s frustration was evident during his television interviews after game 6.

The Miami Heat drew a line in the sand in game five, but the Indiana Pacers crossed the line to pursue Miami’s championship territory by winning game six 91-77. When Stephenson and Hill score and provide aggressive guard play the Pacers are hard to beat. In game 6 Paul George, Roy Hibbert, David West, George Hill and Lance Stephenson all stepped up to guarantee a win for the Pacers. In game 6 The Pacers decided to disregard Miami’s line they drew in the sand and drew a line in the sand of their own.

Each of the previous games won by either team in this series has painted a different picture. The pendulum has swung from one end to the other with each team looking like the team to beat after a win.

All this intrigue sets up a great Eastern Conference Championship 7th game. Miami possesses the championship land and now they must overcome great adversity to keep the land they currently own. Giants have invaded the land Miami has declared as their own. With all the variables, all the drama, injuries and adjustments that have impacted this series, the big question in Game 7 is: Who will possess the championship land?
