According to Goal.com, Liverpool Manager Brendan Rodgers will bring in four more new players during the current summer transfer window, to add to the likes of Kolo Toure and Iago Aspas who have already arrived at Anfield.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Simon Mignolet, Luis Alberto and Christian Atsu are the talented names being touted as the new arrivels as Liverpool look set to use the funds that they are recouping from Wednesday's Andy Carrol transfer to West Ham.
The report states that Rodgers has returned from his holiday and will now look at sealing up these deals, as well as sorting out the over hanging issue of striker Luis Suarez's future. It is a mouth watering array of talent he is expecting to bring in to Anfield this season and will help fill the void that will be left by such a big prescence that Suarez has.
Armenian International Mkhitaryan will be a commentators nightmare, but he will also be a great coup and is a top prospect in world football. Negotiations are in advanced stages with his club Shakhtar Donetsk and sources claim the deal is 60% done and will be for a fee of around £22 million. Meanwhile, talks are advancing for impressive Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet and he is expected to arrive in Liverpool for around £10 million., with current stopper Pepe Reina allegedly holding out for a move to Barcelona.
The next task would be to bring in some attacking re-inforcements and this will be in the shape of Sevilla's Luis Alberto, who spent last season on loan with Barcelona. He will come in for £6 million, and then exciting winger Christian Atsu from Porto is expected to arrive at a cut-price £4 million.
All in all it is expected to be a busy couple of weeks at Anfield as they attempt to tie up the deals before pre-season so Rodgers can build his new squad.
