Manchester United summer target Lucas Moura's transfer saga took another turn when Moura admitted about  the interest from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain. Moura has long been Sir Alex Ferguson's summer target.

Sao Paulo Vice-President Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes has confirmed Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Lucas Moura. The French side are in comfortable position to sign the Brazilian wonder kid. PSG sporting director Leonardo is in good terms with the Sao Paulo officials which could be an added advantage for the French side to seal the deal.

Speaking about PSG's interest on signing the 19 year old talented player, Sao Paulo Vice-President Paulo de Jesus Lopes said "PSG have made an enquiry about Lucas. Leonardo has a very good relationship with Sao Paulo, but no definite decision has been made yet"

"It's a financial issue. Paris Saint-Germain are a big club in European football, and if the player's interests and also the club's are met, I do not see why it could not happen"

"A transfer is an option, but it is up to the player to decide. Sao Paulo's policy is to listen to the player's desire. If Lucas wants to leave the club, Sao Paulo will not hamper a move. However, he will only leave for the right price" Paulo de Jesus Lopes went on to add.

The midfielder has admitted talks are underway with the Ligue 1 side for a move to the French side. Moura is expected to leave Sao Paulo in January in order to link up with compatriots Thiago Silva and Leonardo, the French club's sporting director.

Speaking about his possible move to PSG, Moura said "This is a good thing. 'll stay at Sao Paulo until the end of the year. Things are well underway"

"No doubt that would be better because I can help Sao Paulo a bit more. I have always said I want to win a title before leaving and qualify for the Libertadores Cup. If it happens in January, I'll be able to do that for Sao Paulo" Moura said

I'm focused on the national team. I can only say something after the Olympics. It's well underway, but not done. I talked to Thiago Silva and Leonardo, they said many good things about the club, the project they are implementing there" Moura went on to add.
