Thus, what follows is IBTimes’ update on the latest United transfer rumours and news.

Blackburn sign Joshua King on a permanent deal

Once regarded as one of the most promising youngsters coming through at Old Trafford, Joshua King has signed a permanent deal with Championship club, Blackburn Rovers.

20-year-old was initially signed by the Riversiders on a short-term loan deal in November and has scored twice for them in just eight appearances.

"I've enjoyed my time here. We've a great group of lads and I think I've settled in well,” King said.

"I'm happy to be here and I'm really looking forward to the next two-and-a-half years that I've signed for. Everybody has made me so welcome here. I feel comfortable and I'm happy to make the deal permanent."

King made his United debut in 2009, but could never really break into first-team fray.

Moreover, with Angelo Herniquez and Will Keane showing signs of promise for the future, his transfer is thus expected to have little or no implications on the Red Devils.

Angelo Henriquez completes Wigan loan move

Another budding talent who has left United, fortunately just on loan-spell, is Angelo Herniquez.

As aforementioned, the Chilean is expected to break into the first-team in the coming seasons and therefore the loan move to Wigan could serve as invaluable source of experience for the 18-year-old.

Henriquez said, "This is a fantastic opportunity for me and I am really excited after the manager has given this chance for me to prove myself,"

"Now I need to work to try and earn my place in the team."

The former Universidad de Chile youngster is Wigan’s second midweek signing after Honduran midfielder Roger Espinoza, who however, is yet to obtain a visa to officially move and start playing in England.

United Keeping Tabs on Wilfried Zaha

According to various transfer stations, Manchester Untied are monitoring Crystal Palace’s prodigy Wilfried Zaha.

Via Bleacher Report:

“Few players generated more interest leading up to January than Zaha. The 20-year-old Crystal Palace rising star has illustrated tremendous potential, which has high-profile clubs like the Red Devils looking to land him before his value skyrockets.

Jamie Jackson of the Guardian reports United face competition from Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, which shows exactly how coveted the young striker is around the Premier League.”

With most of the winger underperforming this season, Zaha could be an essential addition to the United team and it will be interesting to see whether Alex Ferguson steps up his interest in the England international this winter, considering almost of United’s domestic rivals are running after the signature of the 20-year-old.
