Chelsea have joined the growing list of Premier League clubs that are chasing England Under-21 starlet Tom Ince, including interest coming in from his former employers Liverpool.
20-year-old Ince is currently earning his trade in The Championship with Blackpool and has become one of the most sought after English youngsters around. Ince was at Liverpool at youth level before they allowed him to leave on a free transfer to Blackpool.
Incredibly, they are said to be touting the starlet as a possible move for them in January. But they are not alone with this pursuit, as Manchester United have been strongly linked with the youngster, and now Chelsea, along with both Tottenham and Arsenal.
Blackpool are not keen to let the attacking midfielder leave and will demand more than £11 million for any potential buyers when the transfer window re-opens in January.
Ince has gained many admirers during the last couple of seasons where his pace, flair, skill and the ability to ghost past defenders has made him really stand out amongst his counter-parts.
Chelsea scouts have been watching Ince, who is the son of former England and Manchester United player Paul Ince. Although their styles differ immensely with his father being more or a tough tackling ball winning midfielder.
Ince has the pace and eye for goal that will really damage an opposing team and strike fear into their defence, thus making him one of the most targetted 20-year-olds in world football this coming transfer window.
