Ronaldo not happy - ex-president hits out.

Following reports that footballing star Christiano Ronaldo is unhappy at current club Real Madrid, the now ex-president of the club has spoken out and said that they should sell the Portuguese player if he is really unhappy in the Spanish capital.

Calderon has been openly critical of the way the club is now being run since his departure in 2009. "If a player is unhappy, they must go...It happened to me with Robinho; it was a dramatic saga, but he was brought for £28,000,000 and sold for £48,000,000, so it was a good deal".

Calderon also spoke to papers saying that the current situation must be put right by the Blancos' manager Jose Mourhino. "Mourhino is a great coach and motivator, but sometimes behaves regrettable. It's an issue that needs to be addressed by the coach himself, but it seems difficult".

It remains to be seen whether or not the public statements will have any effect on Real Madrids future actions, and only time will tell. But the next thought in mind is where would one of the best players in the world move onto next?
