The Giants have done great over the last month, passing the Dodgers for first in the NL West and tying the Washington Nationals for most wins in the National League. The pitchers are hitting their strides and pitching like the staff did in 2010. The offense is also hitting well as of late, and if they are able to continue to do so, the Giants become a very scary team. With a pitching staff that has shown in can lead the team to a World Series title and a revamped offense that is starting to consistently produce, there is a very realistic chance that you'll be seeing the Giants in the World Series once again. A three game series starting tomorrow against the Nationals will determine who is the best team in the NL before the break. If things stay the way they've been for the Giants, they will be a scary team come playoff time.
PROJECTION: The Giants already possess the pitching and now have the hitting to reach the World Series once again. It's possible Market Street will be hosting another Championship parade come October. The Giants will likely win the NL and compete for another title in October. Stay tuned Giants fans; this might be their year (again).
