Sevilla vs. Real Madrid Preview

And club football is finally back.

After a short international break, Real Madrid will be looking to continue their stunning recent form against Sevilla on Sunday.

Even though there has been quite some drama going on at the Bernabeu due to Cristiano Ronaldo's apparent sadness, Mourinho and Co. would be rather concerned with keeping up with rivals Barcelona in the league standing.

The current difference between the two teams is of five points and could increase up to eight before Los Blancos play their all important game.

Madrid will be without Fabio Coentrao (suspended) and might rest some of their key players, considering the taxing upcoming weeks, including a Champions League matchup against Manchester City.

Kaka and Michael Essien might see some playing time and there are chances that Luka Modric might start the game.

Sevilla on the other hand, will be without Jose Antonio Reyes, Geoffrey Kondogbia and Diego Perotti, but 'keeper Diego Lopez will be back from suspension.

Player to Watch: Jesus Navas

Of course Ronaldo will be the most dangerous man on the pitch and because of his not-so-happy mood, all the media spotlight will be on former United star, but in my opinion, the player that who should be looked out for is Jesus Navas.

The latter is arguably one of the best wingers in the world right now and will be Sevilla's most lethal player against Madrid.

His glittering pace, pin-point crosses and beautiful dribbling abilities will come in handy against the Spanish champions and his match-up with Marcelo would surely be an interesting battle.

Expected Line-ups:

Real Madrid: Casillas, Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo; Modric, Alonso; Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo; Benzema

Getafe: Lopez; Cicinho, Botia, Spahic,Navarro; Trochowski, Medel, Rakitic; Navas,Negredo, Del Moral

Prediction: Real Madrid 4-0 Sevilla

There is simply no way that Sevilla would be even able to moderately trouble Real Madrid at the latter's home ground. Madrid are currently in great form and should win by at least three goals.
