Jose Mourinho is looking to sure up his squad further during this summer window in the shape of Seville midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia. The 20-year-old Frenchman has been scouted by Chelsea during last season, where he had a successful time in La Liga with Seville.
Mourinho has also been to see him play and is said to want to bring the youngster to Chelsea this season to bolster up the midfield with John Obi Mikel's Chelsea future looking in doubt, with Turkish side Galatasaray waiting in the wings. Kondogbia operates as a defensive midfielder and has great break up play and intelligence as well as being strong in a challenge.
With Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich looking to spend big to bring in Napoli's Edinson Cavani, the young French star is seen as a cheap option to sure up the midfield, with a fee of £10 million being touted as the amount to land his services. He has 4 years remaining on his Seville contract but with that said, the money offered could tempt the Spanish club to part ways and allow the move, who already gave in and allowed Jesus Navas to join Manchester City.
