Spurs Striker Jermain Defoe Denies Harry Redknapp Re-union At QPR

In form Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe has rubbished rumors of a move away from White Hart Lane to re-unite with former boss Harry Redknapp at QPR.

The England forward has been in fine form this season, netting 10 goals in all competitions, helping the North London club keep up with the top four.

Defoe addressed the transfer speculation of a possible move to QPR on Sky Sports News:"That's not going to happen. I'm not leaving Tottenham, I love the club and to score goals at a big club like this is fantastic"

"If the opportunity comes to leave the club it won't be happening. I don't want to leave, I'm a Spurs player - and I'm happy.

"I think I can say I'd like to finish my career at Tottenham. I want to achieve something special here - it's a great time to be at the club,” he concludes.
