Transfer News: Cesc Fábregas To Leave Barcelona In The Next Transfer Window

Cesc Fábregas revealed that he is unhappy about not being a regular player for Barcelona's starting XI. Fábregas joined the Spanish Giants from Arsenal in a £30million deal last summer.

Fábregas did have a part during Barcelona's former coach Pep Guardiola last season. With Guardiola making way for his assistant Tito Vilanova to take over his position, life has not been easy for the 25-year-old Spaniard since then.  Fábregas is determined to make an impact at Camp Nou.

The Spaniard is yet to complete a full 90 minutes game this season who was also the unused substitute against Real Madrid in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup last week. The Former Arsenal skipper has expressed his desire to play regular team football and will fight back to regain his position in the starting XI.

"There's no such thing as a great substitute in the world of football - I couldn't tell you what makes a great substitute" Fábregas told Marca

"I always wish my team-mates well and put a happy face on. If I have to take my unhappy face home then so be it, but I would never let my team-mates or manager see it"

"I've always said that I play for the best team in the world, but I came here to compete, to learn and enjoy, not tosit racking my brains"

"I am delighted to be a part of this team, but when a coach tells me I have to go, I will go - but I will not make it easy for him to do so, by any means. I will keep going, looking forward to the time that things change. I came here to see out my career" Fábregas went on to add.

Arsenal are likely to re-sign their former skipper if the 25-year-old decides to leave his boyhood club. With Andrés Iniesta and Xavier Hernández being in starting XI, the chances of Fábregas getting a nod ahead of these two players is a very difficult task.

With Fábregas dropping down the order under Barcelona's new coach Vilanova, it is more likely that the player could leave Barcelona. This could interest many top clubs in the world. However as of now Fábregas is a Barcelona player and will remain with Barcelona at least till end of the current calendar year.
