Sprint announced the launching of Palm Treo Pro on March 15 of this year with a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional on a 400 MHz processor from Qualcomm, and comes with Microsoft's standard suite of productivity and entertainment applications.

The Smartphone features 3G connectivity, a 1.7-inch touch screen, built-in Wi-Fi and GPS capabilities and a full QWERTY keyboard and provides a high-resolution color touch screen.

Treo Pro is the first Palm phone available with Internet Explorer Mobile 6.

A technology and Windows Mobile 6.1 on a Palm Smartphone creates a mobile solution that meets the needs of today's mobile professionals, said Kevin Packingham, senior VP of product & technology development for Sprint.

This device costs $200 with a two-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate.
