Jonathan Aris reportedly has confirmed being a cast member in “Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One” and revealed the name of his character in his resume. The actor deleted the entry about the movie from his resume after media reports.

According to a BBC report, Aris posted on his resume that he will be playing Senator Jebel in the movie. The report notes that the information is the first bit of casting news after Felicity Jones was confirmed to play an unspecified role. The producers have announced no cast members.

Aris in known for playing Dr. Anderson in the TV series “Sherlock.” Some of the other TV shows that he has been a part of include “Humans,” “Wolf Hall” and “The Game.” The actor will next be seen as Brendan Hatch in “The Martian” in 2015 and as Arthur Lill in the 2016 movie “Race.”

According to a report by EntertainmentWeekly, other actors who are in talks for “Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One” include Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna and Ben Mendelsohn. Aris’ representatives and Disney have refused to comment on the casting news. The report notes that the title of the movie refers to the squadron of X-Wing fighters that was headed by Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in the 1980 movie "The Empire Strikes Back."

The main plot of the new movie revolves around the Rebels trying to steal the plans of the first Death Star in order to learn its weaknesses. The timeline of the movie will be between “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith” and “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.”

The principal photography of “Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One” is said to begin soon and the movie is slated to be released on Dec. 16, 2016. The movie will be directed by Gareth Edwards, who has worked on movies like “Godzilla” (2014) and “Monsters” (2010).
