Billie Lourd would like to see her mom Carrie Fisher guest star on “Scream Queens.”

Lourd, who plays Chanel #3 on the FOX series, revealed that she wants her mom to appear in an episode of the comedy-horror series during a recent interview with AOL News. The 24-year-old actress even has a great idea on what role her mom could play on the Ryan Murphy-created series.

“I want my mom on ‘Scream Queens,’” Lourd said. “She could play someone who is convinced she’s Princess Leila. That could be her disease and then as a plot twist we could find out that she actually is Princess Leila. Side Note, I think she’s available.”

While seeing Fisher appear on “Scream Queens” would be cool, it’s safe to say that it won’t happen in Season 2, as filming for the installment ended last week. In addition, FOX has yet to renew the series for a third season, so it’s unclear whether Lourd’s little wish will ever come true.

Although Lourd might never get the opportunity to share the screen with her mom on “Scream Queens,” fans of the mother-daughter duo might see them in a scene together in the upcoming “Star Wars: Episode VIII.” Lourd will reprise her role as Lieutenant Connix in the sequel, while Fisher will again play Leia.

During her chat with AOL News, Lourd also mentioned that her family, including her mom, didn’t initially want her to pursue a career in acting.

“This is the last thing they would have wanted me to do,” she shared. “It's like my form of rebellion, but now that I am doing it and I am comfortable and happy they are thrilled. But, I think they would rather I be a neurosurgeon. I tried that, but I got a B- in bio, so... “

“My whole life, they said, ‘Do not act. You need to get a college degree,’” Lourd shared in an interview with ABC News last year.”[But] I went to performing arts camp, secretly taking classes — I got the lead in the musical, and my dad [Bryan Lourd] was like, ‘Wait, I thought you were going here for music and knitting.’”

“Star Wars: Episode VIII” opens in theaters on Dec. 15, 2017. “Scream Queens” Season 2 finale, on the other hand, airs on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 9 p.m. EST on FOX. Check out the preview clip and synopsis for the Season 2, episode 10, titled “Drain the Swamp” below:
