"Star Wars: Force Arena" Player vs. Player (PvP) game has been announced for Android and iOS devices. It will feature 65 iconic "Star Wars" characters, vehicles and units.

Players can choose between the Rebellion or the Empire, command and fight against each other in real time. They will also be able to build squads by recruiting characters with varying skills and attack capabilities using character cards, which are acquired after each battle and upgraded to strengthen the squad. The players can choose from famous "Star Wars" heroes such as Han Solo and Chewbacca to boost their combat readiness. Apart from that there are different modes available — single player, training, and real-time 1v1 or 2v2 multiplayer.

The pre-registration for the game has already begun and players signing up will get crystals as rewards, which can be used as an in-game currency to purchase items and strengthen characters. More crystals will be awarded to players once the game has been globally launched. The company will determine the number of crystals awarded by the number of pre-registrations — 250 crystals will be rewarded if more than 10,000 players sign up, 700 crystals for more than 100,000 and 1,400 crystals will be given to all players if more than a million sign up for pre-registration.

The official release date for the game hasn't been revealed yet.
