Cast member John Boyega has shared a behind-the-scenes photo from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Meanwhile, a new report indicates that the main plot and some of the events in the movie maybe based on a comic series. [Spoiler alert]

Boyega, who plays a character called Finn, appeared wearing a Stormtrooper uniform in the first trailer of the movie and was later seen joining hands with a character called Rey, played by Daisy Ridley, in the second trailer. The actor posted this photo on his Instagram account, in which he is seen wearing his costume and getting input from director J.J. Abrams.

Details about Finn and other characters have been revealed by StarWars7News. According to the report, the plot and characters in the forthcoming movie are based on a 2013 comic book series called “Star Wars: Legacy Volume 2.”

Ridley’s character is a junk dealer on the desert planet of Jakku. The report notes that the comic book series featured a character called Ania Solo who is also in the same profession on a desert planet. The character is the daughter of Han Solo and Princess Leia.

The character apparently discovers a lightsaber inside a communications droid and she later joins hands with an “Imperial Knight” called Jao Assam. The trailer of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and many of the leaks from the movie for the past year suggest that there is a strong link between the plot of the movie and plot of the comic book series.

The second trailer of the movie also hints that the plot of the movie will revolve around a lightsaber. The report states that the main villain in the comic, Darth Wredd, is also looking for the lightsaber.

The report notes that one of the main rumors of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is that it will be about the villain searching for Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber, while Rey and Finn search for the lightsaber's owner. Luke will be played by Mark Hamill, a star of the original "Star Wars" film in 1977.
