Apple's co-founder and visionary, Steve Jobs, has passed away at age 56 after losing a fierce battle against pancreatic cancer. But he has left behind a legacy of gadgets that have, over the years, transformed the face of technology. Here's a look at the top 10:

The Apple Macintosh: With a vision to make computer use easier, Steve Jobs and his school friend Stephen Wozniak launched the Apple Macintosh in 1984. Only 50,000 units of the computer were sold in the first 74 days after its release. Consumers found the computer expensive and lacking in memory. The first Mac had Lisa, a user friendly GUI, but was lacking in some of its most powerful features like multitasking components and the 1MB RAM, which led Jobs to start developing new Macintosh software, a software that has transformed computer usage to this day.

iMac: Today the latest iMac is one of the world's most powerful desktop computers with quad-core processors, up to 3x faster graphic, Thunderbolt technology and a FaceTime HD Camera. The Thunderbolt ports with faster internal processors make this the fastest Mac to date: a powerhouse perfect for families and professionals.

MacBook Air: One of the fastest and lightest laptops to date. The newest MacBook Air is the most powerful of its kind. Equipped with the latest Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, it is up to 2.5x faster. It comes with a thunderbolt port, allowing you to transfer data at 12 times the speed of a FireWire 800. The flash storage function in the laptop enables you to instantly start your laptop with no wait time and give you the ability of keeping your laptop on standby mode for up to 30 days. It also has a long-lasting battery, multi-track pad and a high resolution display.

iPod Touch: From the classic iPod portable music player was born the iPod Touch, allowing you to store and share your music and video files using the internet. The latest iPod Touch has a free iMessage service that allows you to send unlimited text messages to any iPod, iPhone or iPad for free over a Wi-Fi connection. It also comes with HD video recording and 100,000 games that can be downloaded from the app store.

iPod Nano: The mini version of the iPod just got a brand new facelift. The device can now double up as a watch with much bolder and brighter app icons, making it easier to navigate through playlists, artists and genius mixes while listening to tracks. The new Nano comes with 18 different clock faces including Disney's Minnie and Mickey mouse. No need to attach anything onto the device to keep track of your fitness efforts, the Nano does that for you with a built in accelerometer that offers feedback on your fitness. The Nano is also Nike + iPod compatible allowing you to connect your Nano to your computer and upload your results to the Nike + Web site.

iPhone: The device that brought the world to the consumer's fingertips has just unveiled the all-powerful iPhone 4S. It may have the same retina screen, but the interior has had an entire revamp with the latest A5 chip making its way into the phone. With a dual-core CPU, the new iPhone is 2x as fast at CPU tasks and up to 7x faster than the previous iPhone, which is a great perk for games. Data can also be downloaded twice as fast as before. Theoretical max performance used to be 5.8 up and 7.2 down; it has now doubled to almost 14.4Mbps down. The new iPhone can now intelligently switch between two antennas between send and receive to produce even higher calling quality. This has never been done in a phone before. It comes with an 8 megapixel sensor that gets 73 percent more light than the iPhone 4 sensor, and is 1/3rd faster. A high-end IR filter has also been fitted for greater accuracy and uniformity. The brand new camera lens has five elements and goes down to a wide f2.4 aperture and comes with stunning HD video capacity with 1080p real-time video image stabilization.

iPad: Not an iPhone, not a Laptop but a thin, light and powerful in-between. The new iPad 2 comes with a dual-core A5 chip and 10-hour battery power and has 140,000 apps that can be used on the go. With its Newsstand feature you can store all your favorite newspapers, magazines and books in one place. With the new iCloud technology the iPad will be able to store your content wirelessly and it to all your devices.

iTunes: With the new iCloud all the music, apps and books you purchase from iTunes will appear on all your devices. iTunes lets you organize and play digital music and videos to all your computers and devices.

Apple TV: The small portable box allows you to stream movies, TV shows, music and photos to an HDTV through one cable connect. It is now smaller than ever and priced at $99.

Final Cut Pro: A program that changed the face of video editing, with revolutionary editing tools enabling editors to produce with highest quality and precision.
