Steve Jobs has influenced in some way or other the lives of so many that people around the world turned iSad on Wednesday, taking a break for sharing thoughts about the charming innovator who formed modern technology culture.

In a news release, Apple said it was “deeply saddened” to announce Jobs passing.
Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.

In co-founding Apple, Jobs had not only created a company, but reshaped technology, music and marketing.

His death comes only one day after the big announcement of the new iPhone5, made by Tim Cook, Apple's current CEO.

In an email to the Apple staff, Cook says, No words can adequately express our sadness at Steve's death or our gratitude for the opportunity to work with him. We will honor his memory by dedicating ourselves to continuing the work he loved so much.

The White House issued a statement on Jobs' death, “The world has lost a visionary. And there may be no greater tribute to Steve’s success than the fact that much of the world learned of his passing on a device he invented.”

Many people are quoting from a moving speech Jobs gave to a graduating class at Stanford University in 2005. “Death is the destination we all share, he told the graduating class.
