The first teaser trailer of Oscar award winning director Steven Spielberg’s upcoming film “War Horse” has premiered. The one-minute-fifty-six second clip has hit the internet.

The one-minute clip starts-off with a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert Narracott, who bonds with the horse. The conversion between the horse Joey and Albert and the horse's encounter with several people give away hints about the story line.

War Horse is adapted the story from Michael Morpurgo's children’s novel of the same name. Jeremy Irvine, Emily Watson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, Niels Arestrup, Eddie Marsan, David Thewlis and David Kross are cast in the movie.

According to Steven Spielberg, the story revolves around a horse that was separated from farmer’s son Albert and was sold to the British Cavalry. The horse was sent to serve on the battlefields during the World War I.

The movie will hit the screens on December 28, 2011, five days after Spielberg’s next release, “The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn,” WSJ reported.
