Last month, Ishta and Harris spoke with Entertainment Weekly regarding their characters’ journey in Season 3. According to the former, Kirsten will continue struggling with her emotions after a dangerous stitch in Season 2. “Well, that’s definitely one of Cameron’s concerns. It’s a recurring theme this season. ‘How has this stitch affected her?’ But she’s definitely on this emotional journey like she has been from Season 1. Every season she just becomes a more fuller, emotional human being. You’ll see that growth throughout the season,” she said.

Harris also opened up about Cameron and Kirsten’s relationship and said that even though the two characters will be very happy with each other, they will also face some problems. “With that comes a lot of conflicts because where do you draw the line between boyfriend and co-worker? So it’s an interesting dynamic,” he said.

Meanwhile, Linus and Camille, who were previously linked to each other, are now dating other people. Camille is dating Amanda (Anna Akana), while Linus is with Ivy (Sarah Davenport). According to Ishta, one of the biggest questions in Season 3 is whether or not it’s the best decision to trust Ivy. “Kirsten and Ivy develop more of a relationship… So there’s definitely a question of, ‘Can we trust her?’ She becomes a lot more involved with the team, and somewhat with the cases too,” she said.

“Stitchers” Season 3, episode 7 will air on Freeform on July 24 at 9 p.m. EDT.
