Stock futures added to losses on Thursday after initial jobless claims unexpectedly rose in the latest week.

Other data showed higher oil prices pushed prices for imported goods higher in July.

S&P 500 futures were down 8.3 points and were below fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures slid 59 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 17.5 points.
