Stock index futures briefly extended declines on Wednesday amid a slew of quarterly results, including a net loss from Morgan Stanley .

S&P 500 futures fell 5.30 points and were below fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures lost 26 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures were off 4.70 points.
