General Mills (NYSE:GIS) is scheduled to report its second-quarter 2011 financial results on Thursday before markets open. The company is likely to post second-quarter earnings of $0.78 per share compared with $ 0.77 per share in the same quarter last year.

Danaher Corp. (NYSE:DHR) shares declined 1 percent to $45.45 in the after-hours trading session. The company raised its Q4 EPS guidance from $0.64 to $0.66, up from its earlier guidance of $0.61 to $0.66, while analysts expected $0.66 per share.

FedEx Corp. (NYSE:FDX) shares gained 0.36 percent to $92.72 in after-hours trading session. The company is expected to report third-quarter net profit of $1.31 per share, compared with $1.10 per share a year ago.
